A sales DataFrame has a store column and one column per month (jan, feb, mar). Reshape it to long form with columns store, month, value — one row per (store, month).
The frame may also carry other, non-month columns (e.g. region). Only the three month columns are unpivoted; the result has exactly the columns store, month, value.
